About us

If you want to see a “real cowgirl” in action, there’s no better example than KIRSTEN VOLD.  Born and raised on a massive, working ranch, Kirsten has spent most of her life traveling across the country working as an integral part of her family’s rodeo company.  Barrel racing has always been a passion of hers, but has had to take a ‘back seat’ to her responsibilities on the ranch and to her cross-country business travels.  Kirsten has taught beginning through advanced horseback riding lessons for many years to men, women and children of all ages.  You’d be hard-pressed to find a more genuine and capable guide than Kirsten. Kirsten Vold
Kip Olsen Forty-nine year old KIP OLSEN has seen and done it all.  After touring most of North America in his youth, Kip settled down when he purchased a ranch in Westcliff , Colorado .  He now tours the United States while working for the Harry Vold Rodeo Company.  The freedom of this occupation allows him to wrangle at 9 Lives Ranches and ride saddle bronc horses in his spare time.  Kip is a backbone member of the 9 Lives Ranches staff.
T BRANSON is the 9 Lives Ranches’ photographer / EMT / ’troubleshooter’.  Working with 9 Lives allows her to combine some of the passions in her life:  photography, animals and people.  Her keen eye for beautiful photos, years of animal experience and ease with people make her a priceless addition to the staff. Jason Stites Working as a wrangler at 9 Lives Ranches is only one of many occupations that JASON STITES balances on his plate.  Welder, silversmith, carpenter and full-time rancher are just a few of his talents.  9 Lives Ranches is fortunate to have such a well rounded individual as a member of the staff.
JANNELLE ROSKEY works as a wrangler at 9 Lives Ranches while attending the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs as an undergraduate in film production.  Her training in horsemanship combined with her natural ability with people make her a tremendous asset to the ranch. Jannelle Roskey
