1. Open your image in
Photoshop and duplicate it. This way if you need to start over you
can.
2. Now grab the healing brush tool and replace any unwanted
features on your persons face. ie. scars, moles, hair, etc. The
longer you spend on this the better the end result will be.

|
3. Next, select the clone tool with an opacity of 50% replace
some of the harder areas you couldn't with the healing brush.
As long as the opacity is about 50%, the clone tool will simulate
the creation of new skin on your image.
|
4. With the magic wand brush select all of the skin on the
face. To select multiple parts of the image, hold shift with
click. Once you have selected all of the skin, duplicate the
layer.

|
5. On the skin layer press ctrl + mouse click to select just
the skin. Now we will use the blur tools to soften the skin.
With the blur tool, blur you skin to illustrate a soft filter.
Once you have done so you will need to change the opacity to
about 40% to allow the the underneath layers through.

|
6.Now onto the eyes. With the use of the dodge tool, zoom into
the eyes and lighten the outer edge of the iris. Now use the
dodge tool to draw strokes from the pupil to the outer edge.
This will illustrate a reflective eye.
|
7. If you would like to color the eyes then draw circles over
the eyes on a new layer. Chang the opacity layer to soft light
and place them over the eyes much like contacts.
|
8. Next mask these circles and erase the harsh edges and unwanted
areas.
|
9. Now we want to get rid of the redness that is in her
face. so add a new layer and paint a skin tone color on top
of the redness that you want to change. Once you are finished,
change the opacity layer to the hue selection. This will color
out all of that redness.
